OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT
Because Prugent was born in a natural setting in the heart of the Pyrenees, and because forests are the source of our business, protecting the environment is our priority. This commitment can be seen in the actions we've taken in our offices by installing trackers and solar panels, managing our own waste and implementing a strategy to protect biodiversity through a wide range of projects. We are also committed to your projects, with eco-design work carried out by our experts and craftsmen, who support you throughout the value chain to obtain all the relevant certifications (leed, breeam).
CERTIFIED WOOD SPECIES
Right from the creation of our first workshop in the Pyrenees, we chose to work with quality local species: pines, firs, larches... Today, all our wood is FSC® certified, and the same goes for our workshops. Our French and Portuguese factories also hold the European PEFC certification. Our cabinetmakers work with wood from sustainably managed forests. And because these woods are of superior quality, we take care to always offer recycling solutions so that nothing is wasted from these noble materials. If you wish, we can help you certify your project to FSC standards, covering the entire value and supply chain.

The craftsmen who make up our teams are our most precious resource and the key to our excellence. That's why we're committed to providing them with the right working environment, based on confidence, fairness and exchange. We value their teamwork and diversity, and enable them to develop their skills, notably through L'ATELIER DES SAVOIRS Prugent. We also guarantee good working conditions in all our workshops worldwide. These are regularly audited by our customers and independent firms, and we have created a unique code of conduct that applies in each of our factories. This ethic also extends to our partners and suppliers, whom we choose for their fiability.

The Group has set a clear objective: to reduce its direct and indirect carbon emissions by 46% between 2019 and 2030. To be in line with this target, Prugent's ateliers are actively working to reduce their energy consumption and improve thermal insulation across all of their sites around the world.
